These terms govern use of LayerOneGrid hosting services.
1. Services
LayerOneGrid provides managed hosting infrastructure.
Service scope includes:
- Server provisioning
- Monitoring
- Backup systems (if included in plan)
We do not guarantee compatibility with all applications.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Account security
- All activity under your account
- Maintaining backups unless explicitly included
3. Acceptable Use
You may not use services to:
- Host illegal content
- Distribute malware or malicious code
- Conduct phishing or fraud
- Launch attacks (DDoS, brute force, scanning)
- Abuse system resources in a way that impacts other users
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules.
4. Resource Usage
Plans include defined limits (CPU, RAM, storage, bandwidth).
- Excessive usage may result in throttling or suspension
- No "unlimited" resources unless explicitly stated
5. Payments
- Services billed in advance
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination
- Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
6. Backups
- Backups may be provided as a convenience, not a guarantee
- Customers remain responsible for their own data
7. Uptime and Availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Downtime may occur due to:
- Maintenance
- Infrastructure failures
- External factors
8. Limitation of Liability
LayerOneGrid is not liable for:
- Data loss
- Lost revenue or business interruption
- Security breaches outside our direct control
Maximum liability is limited to fees paid for the current billing period.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Violation of terms
- Non-payment
- Security risks
Customers may terminate services at any time.
10. Data After Termination
- Data may be deleted after account termination
- Recovery is not guaranteed
11. Modifications
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
